PatchWorm (Full Review) #1 Best way to Clean your PCP Rifle

Hey guys. I just discovered the PatchWorm Gun Cleaning Kit. This pull through system is safe for airguns, but more importantly: It cleans your barrel BETTER than any other system on the market. It cleans your barrel better, and there is no way you can damage the crown of your barrel with this kit. I did not mention in the video: The heads of this pull through system rotate with your barrel's rifling as they go down the barrel. +1 for the crown saver. Patch worm is fine but I have hand issues so it’s hard for me to get a grip on it and pull it through the barrel.

Gotta say I agree. Used to use the crown saver until I tried the patch worm kit. I definitely think it cleans better and faster than the crown saver

Patchworm is awesome! 

If people have trouble grabbing the line, you can double it over a dry rag or hand towel to get a grip. Or if you can move your gun/barrel, lower the muzzle end to the floor and just step on the end of the line, then lift your gun/barrel.

I have one of the field kits and it works very well. I do wish they came with a straw or at least a little more room in the case to add one without folding it up.

Cut off a 4” - 5” long section of wood broom handle and wrap line around it a couple times and voila, there’s your handle..

Remove the plastic caliber specific button then double up the amount of patches. Easier on the seals and cleans just fine.

I just use a pair of small channel locks to grip the end of the line. (I make my own patch worms). Easy- peasy! I like the crown saver but my fav. is the bore snakes with the brush removed. One pass and spotless. Perfect!!!

I think it's silly as hell that the line is not longer. Amazon description specs say it's long enough for a 26 inch barrel. There are LOTS of barrels longer than that. Does anybody know why it has this limitation? Yes, I'm irritated, but it's only because I want one (or more), but it won't work on my FX Maverick Sniper 30 cal.

Dewey rod and mops for me with all fx liners and easily removed barrels. For the rest, my go to is the BOREMAN
