So I’ve been spending a bit more time with my sub 12 BRK Pathfinder .177, this little backpack beast is really growing on me and fast becoming my go to rifle. For a short barrelled rifle it’s certainly holding up well on the longer shots ! Light, well balanced and compact it’s perfect for wandering round my permissions and doing some pest control.
I treated it to a new Form laminate pistol grip last week which is in a very nice ebony design.
Since I’d been playing around with it I thought I’d make sure the Mtc swat prismatic had held the zero and do a bit of a power check. All zero’d at 40 yards with .177 Daystate sovereign heavy which runs at average of 11.5 ft/lb in my pathfinder on high power setting.
So now it’s all zeroed i shot a few magazines on the metal knockdowns dotted around the range, I decided to put out a paper target at 50 yard marker. Very happy with the results ( bit windy but the range is well sheltered which was lucky )
I’m going to have a try with a few other pellet brands when I next there, but so far it seems to like most pellets I’ve tried. Bonus ! Maybe next time I could even try a bit further out and see where that gets me.
Thanks for reading
