Patriot Javelin slugs .25 and .30 caliber

I'd love to see some real-world reviews of these slugs, including actual BC for the various sizes and weights. Let face it, we've only seen or will only see reviews from Influencers or 'Tubers that got their slugs free. Of course, they're going to be great! If not, they know they won't get more free stuff.
So maybe some that have actually PAID for their ammo could review these and give their thoughts...

I have some .250 40gr on pre order. I have been a die hard NSA shooter for a long time.
I will give a honest opinion.
I do think they will be very accurate from the Superior Slug Liner I have been shooting.
Anyone know the difference between the Superior Heavy and Superior Slug, or was it just a name change...? I know the Slug A shoots the 43.5 NSA accurately between 880 and 950 fps. The Sup Heavy wasn't as good, but it does have a tighter bore than the Slug A. I'm curious about the Javelins because the S Africans tested the crap out of the .22 caliber slugs, but don't shoot .25 and .30, so more than likely considerably less real-world testing...
I did buy a 700mm .25 Superior Slug, but it had a nice fat pit in the bore about 3 inches from the muzzle... Haven't returned it to UA yet.

Maybe they sent them to FX USA for testing and development? I watched a YouTube video this morning with Hans whatever his last name is and he is involved in development and testing for 25 & 30 Patriot slugs and said he relocated to the US.

I got that stupid idea that I want to shoot 200 meter rings ... this all from Utube ... this is getting expensive :)
I visited my FX dealer today (2hrs drive door to door) and picked up my performance parts for my MK2,
also got 1+1 Javelin 34gn to slug my .22 liners for first time (.217 vs .218), because so far I was shooting 100 meters in .25 so I know those specs but nothing yet in .22.
$30.5 CAD for a can in .22 ... not sure what the .25 will cost but I think I will go back to HN and ZAN for large volume shooting 100-200.

I have shot a complete 150 round cylinder of the 40gr. Javelins.
I shot them from my M3 w/700mm Superior Slug liner @955fps.
Conditions have been from gusty cross winds to dead calm with temperatures from 15° to 60°.
My targets are 89 yards from my house.
The results were similar every time I shot them.
I would get 2 groups, an aiming point group and a high right group.
Sometimes they would stack 3 or 4 in the same hole then the next 6 or 7 a high right group.
They are very well packed in the cylinders with little or no deformation of the slugs. They also have a very slick dry coating on them.
I will probably try shooting them at a bit higher velocity (970 to 990fps) to see if the accuracy improves.

I have shot other brands of ammo from that liner. None of them shoot 2 groups and some brands will shoot sub MOA at 89 yards.

Check your plenum pressure as you shoot. I had a similar issue and would also notice a change in the sound. Turned out that I was shooting faster than the reg was refreshing, effectively changing the tune.
