Id be searching to see what kind of seller protection there is when dealing with an unverified account. I would certainly be careful for sure.

When you receive a payment, click on the transaction to see whether an account is verified, unverified, unregistered (PayPal guest checkout), US or non-US account.

A search shows:

All accounts start off as unverified with certain account sending, receiving, withdrawal limits until action is taken to verify later by linking bank account. PayPal allows this because users who have may have verified PayPal accounts want to send money to others that do not have a PayPal account who can then register their email address to claim their funds and later verify their accounts to lift account limits.

What do you see when you click the requirements for seller protection?

another search shows: When you see 'unverified', the sender hasn't completed the verification process with PayPal. Meaning they haven't added and confirmed their bank account. Also, you're able to see if the transaction is eligible, partially eligible or ineligible for Seller Protection on the Transaction Details page.

Did You received the founds to your PP account? Done deal.
Not your responsibility to verify anybody's account.
You print the shipping label from PayPal, make a picture about a box in postoffice also the tracking number from receipt, and that is it from your part.
If anything happenes down the road - not your business, PP will take care of the story.

Edit: I am using PP/ebay accounts since 2001.
