N/A PCP Dove Hunting Rifle

Hi everyone, I currently own a Taipan vet 2 and love this platform. If there is no user error I can hit anything. The other day i aimed for the head on a dove at around 120m and thts right where it hit. Everything about the rifle is great other than the weight atleast when I walk around and try to shoot without anything to lean it on. I originally bought this rifle for dove hunting after alot of research , but I’ve had a change of heart. I don’t want to abandon the rifle in my second home and use it for 3 weeks out of every year. With this out the way I am looking for recommendations for a cheaper PCP rifle. Main use will be for hunting doves anywhere from 30-120m far. I want it to be accurate with a decent shot count and in .22 cal. Mainly will be shooting jsb 18.3g . Also the lighter the better. The scope mounted on it will be a Element Helix 6-24 apr1c reticle. I don’t mind buying used and the cheaper the better since it will mostly be stored away. So any recommendations?

Cheap accurate light decent shot count. A lot to ask for! I’m more into the high end quality after owning a cheap Turkish pcp that I was happy to get rid of at a loss.
Im sure other more experienced people will comment and come up with some suitable recommendations.
Good luck in your search.
Like i said I don’t mind buying second hand so that should reduce price alot. I know used Benjamin marauders can be found for $300-450 and I’ve heard they are pretty good. I’d like to spend saved money on a better optic to throw on the Taipan.

A P35 or bullshark would meet your specification. I don't know about trying to specify the pellet a gun will like but my P35-22 is very accurate and has power enough for doves to that sort of range. It prefers H&N baracuda match pellets, however. The bullshark has a 40mm longer barrel and a different plastic stock but is otherwise about the same thing. The one bullshark I set up also preferred the same pellets as my P35 (I tested several weights of JSB in both). The P35 is about 5 lbs and the bullshark about 6.

For birding... And for the record I have both high and low end guns.

If you're willing to do a little work and a lot of testing you can find that goldilocks combination of pressure, tensions, velocity, projectile that just freaking work.

Im taking dove and larger birds at ranges out to 120 with a .177 slinging 13.5g slugs at 980 with Moa accuracy. It's a hatsan at44. I regulated, and ran thousands of shots of many many types of slugs and pellets to find the magic combo.

I've recently gotten an AV avenger bullpup in .177 was taking the same out to 87yards this weekend slinging crosman domed "ultra mags" at 996 muzzle. I've only had it a week and I'm still in the testing phase. Yesterday i found that 10.03 mk3 kos at 965fps perform incredibly well.

The av avenger pup in .177 has all of those properties. Cheap, light, accurate, damn high shot count for a 180cc tube. (77-80 @20.5 fpe)

There's a .22 FX Bobcat 1 in classifieds for a cheap price. Yes, it's an older, discontinued line but if it's ANYTHING like mine (laser accurate) you can hardly go wrong. My 1st time out hunting with it & 1st kill was a 102 yard squirrel headshot. Made me a fan & a believer in .22.
