Has anyone used the fill calculators posted here or elsewhere? If so, how accurate do you find them?

I decided to formulate my own many ages ago and re-visited it lately with a small update. My calculations have always been a bit under what the websites calculate, which make me question their validity, or mine.

Example:

66 cu ft tank
4000 psi tank pressure
3050 gun fill pressure
2040 gun refill pressure
190cc gun tank volume

AoA/AGN calculator = 34 fills
My (old) calculator = 29 fills
My (current) calculator = 28 fills (calculates additional volume from microbore hose, and wasted volume from connectors)

Now, I wish I got 34 fills, and while I never really tracked, maybe next time I should, but I find it hard to believe.

Until then...I'll leave this here for anyone interested in comparing/contrasting.

Stubbers, I use the Pyramyd PCP Fill Caculator (always wondered how accurate it was??). I use 66 cubic foot SCBA tanks filled to 4500 PSI. MY FX has a 300cc tank. I fill it to 3300 PSI and refill it at 150 BAR. I get 48 shots (six mags) before refilling. The Pyramyd Caculator shows 19 refills of the tank. That's about 900 shots before having to have the tank recharged at the dive shop. How does that compare to your caculations? Thanks, 20PPC.

You mean 140 BAR? Only way to replicate 19 fills for me on PA is to go down to 140 bar vs 150 bar. Mine calculates18 full fills. I assumed a micro bore hose of 12 inch and 1 cc of wasted volume from fitting connections.
