Pcp for 8yr old boy

Go with a classic like a Benjamin Discovery (iron sights or scoped), or the MRod with the synthetic stock is also a good option.
I have a 25cal gen 2 synrod and soon to have a gen 1 in 20cal. I will see if he can hold up my 25 tonight when he gets home. The Notos might be the way to go. I put a wtb out for a prod or woods walker just to check and see. I think he needs a shorter gun. I have him my ruger precision rimfire and with stock short he can shoot it but says it's heavy. Idk

Thanks
Jon

Hello,
My 8yr old son wants an air rifle to shoot with dad. I want a pcp since I have tanks and a compressor to fill it. Probably a 177 and a magazine with a good shot count. He will just be plinking and shooting targets. I don't want a huge gun for him and probably something with adjustable stock to grow with him. Price range up to 400. Any suggestions?

Thanks
Jon
brocock commander , has adjustable length of pull. he wont grow out of it , 100 shots per charge in .22 , very accurate , lightweight , super quiet with a small moderator ,

Thats comming off as a fun gun lots are liking it. The accessories are cheap like iron sights , pistol grips, at $10. Clip 19$ ,ss tray $6

Now i assume the optional grips gets rid of the carbine bumb / mounting butt end ?

Anyway ill bet you both will have fun with it .

Enjoy

later you could modify it like this

300+ shot per fill, but you need a compressor or SCBA tank to fill it
