PCP Journey

Hypothetically,

A long-time rifle shooter becomes interested in PCP rifles. After reading everything available and watching many videos he buys an Umarex Gauntlet 25. The choice to buy the Gauntlet is based on price and abundance of information about modifying it.

Essentially every aftermarket accessory was purchased and installed. Along the way a lot was learned about PCP rifles and how they work. The effort provided much entertainment and satisfaction.

A chronograph was purchased. A shooting bench was built. A backyard 50-yard range was created. And finally, a lot of shooting and “tuning” was done. The rifle performs almost as well as it did brand new out of the box.

This hypothetical guy, not me, now has a question. Is there a place/person that can make all the parts work together?

Don't kid yourself! The Umarex Gauntlet 25 is one fine rifle for the money. The trigger is exceptional especially so for the price line. One of my shooting buds uses one, and consistently hits pigeons at his dairy farm, out to 100 yards. I don't know for sure, but I suspect he's shot it over 3,000 rounds. He's NEVER complained. And do you know what? If it breaks, and becomes non-repairable, what has he lost?

Yes, there is: the hypothetical guy.lwherever he/she is. And.....he/she is going to have alot of fun doing it! "It's not the destination, it's the journey". Trite and cliche but.....true.
