Pcp only? *laughs in Daisy"

Got these on a whim..didn't notice the "pcp only" thing. I'm learning; bc this is my 2nd tin to say that, it means break out the Powerline 880 and send it!🤣🤌

I just saw that warning on my first can of H&N .22 21.14 gr pellets. The warning means that they are assuming that only PCP rifles will have the power to clear that much pellet out of the barrel and still fly accurately.

I just bought a Gamo Swarm DX .22 break-barrel rifle. At one time this would have been a springer rifle. But now Gamo has changed its BBs to IGT (Inert Gas Technology) and these rifles are specified to shoot any size .22 pellet.

I Have several guns that like heavy pellets. I guess my philosophy is to view the spring and seal as a wear item and shoot what works best. At any rate after several years of using heavy pellets, I'm still waiting for the spring to fail in any of them. It also helps to keep a book, so your know what you particular guns like.

Hey there. I got the Gamo swarm dx .22 as well. I was wondering how you like it. I can barely find any information on it. I've seen where people will replace the piston seal on Gamo break barrels for better performance. Have you done this or would you recommend it? Also what pellets do you use in it and do you know fps?

Sorry. I bought it on a whim, shot it once on the range and have not touched it since. I did not finish zeroing it because it was so hard to cock. I hope that improves with use or maybe I can work on it when I decide to start using it. Maybe work on the piston seal.

Gamo is rather short on info about this gun. There are a few reviews on YouTube. One guy shot a whole magazine and seemed to cock it effortlessly.
