My Gauntlet .30sl and my Walther Reign .22 will both do 100yards with slugs( pellets?hmm, id say the Walther will do it with JSB 18.13gr, dont shoot pellets beyond 50yds in either and never in the G30SL)jiikuu, Yes, that's a very nice weapon. Unfortunately the price is way over my budget. I guess some people think $1000 is cheap. I'm looking for something between $500 and $750. I'm not wanting the kill anything, just target shoot at 100 yards. Not sure my Gauntlet can shoot 100 yards. I don't want to deal with having to make massive elevation adjustments on it because of drop off. Not sure how much drop off there is between 50 yards and 100 yards. Guess I could set a target out the next time at the range, and see if it can make the grade. I do know that I need a larger caliber rifle. The .177's I have don't do well past 25 yards, though the Hammerli did shoot fairly decently at 50 yards.
My Walther Reign .22 will do 100yds at that 1.5"level and sometimes at 1" or less with 5 shot group..ive honestly shot it at past 250 yards(283yards) on a tin can and 2 vermin with 25 gr slugs( up to 16 foot holdover though, 15.5ft to be exact)..I do like to brag honestly to indicate fun possibilities with the pcp air rifles of today..getting a GK1 .22, I Know ill be shooting absurd ranges with it, but i do have decades of shooting experience with powder burners..i have a Huben K1 in .22 shooting the peanut slugs and i can put a full mag into a 2" size

ive actually thought of getting the Air Venturi Avenger in .22, shot a buddies variation and i liked it, read, saw alot of videos about it..adjustable regulator, hs, light weight,accurate..yeah ive got my Walther reign but That up to 3k adjustable regulator and hs makes a big difference..my Walther reign is adjustable nothing( but accurate as hell in its bell curve)..The Huben k1 looks promising/ powerful (im getting its twin the gk1 v3 today, which has compatible parts with it) we'll see where it heads..but with bad vibes of whats coming in the next week, might need to focus on self reliance..A quality PCP with some 33.95 pellets can shoot 100 pretty well.I won't name brands because everyone has their preference.
