I did get the Boss trigger installed on the crown grs, some dremel work on the interior stock, and interior of the trigger guard was needed. The grub screws that were sent were too long, so I dremel cut them to size, ut now they have completely flat ends. Think these flat ends are causing some creep with the lever contact areas, flat on flat pivot point situation.. So will get new grub screw, either cone point, or ball end, the ball end will not compress but will act as a good pivot point on the flat lever, also can fill the ball/spring with crazy glue.
I did get the Boss trigger to set at 2.0 ounces.
The main difference between the stock Crown trigger and the Boss trigger is, my example: was shooting low velocity , 770 fps, 850 fps, and could get the stock crown trigger to set at 2.0 ounces, but then wanted to change to a higher velocity, 900, 980 fps, the stock crown trigger set at 2.0 ounces would not set at this higher spring tension.
So my answer was to try the Boss trigger, The Boss trigger at 2.0 ounces will set at higher velocity, 960 fps, JSB 25.4 slug.
If I can not eliminate this small creep, 1) live with it, or 2) is there an alternative after market trigger that will set to 2.0 ounces or less for the Crown GRS?
Thank you, R
