I got the 2023 Bauer Poseidon PE-100, i was wondering if anyone knows if the Shell Corena S4 P100 is the same as bauer synthetic oil N28355. Did anyone use oil from other brands except bauer?

Im asking because the company i work for uses shell lubricants and we have stock tons of them, imagine we have 2 tons of the Corena S4 P100 in stock, so its free for me to get.

I have always bought my compressor oil from Filtertechs.com in Florida. They sell quality compressor oil in gallon or quart sizes but with shipping it's cheaper by the gallon as shipping is the same for both sizes. I have had good performance in several compressors I've owned using Seco Lube 500 oil. I know from other's experiences locally that saving money by buying cheaper oil made for shop compressors is a mistake in the long run. Compressor oil should be non detergent and at least ISO 100. Oil prices have increased since I last bought Seco Lube 500 which was $59 a gallon but now is $82.

Of course, they said they recommend only the Bauer oil. I checked the N28355 and the Corena S4 P100 and they look exactly the same.
