This is the pellet probe on my TM1000, when pushed all the way forward it doesn't snap the last little bit to seal against the rifle, like it had before. Can I loosen that grub screw and turn the probe out to where it seals, then snug up that grub screw ? No info on that in my RAW manuals. Thanks for your help.
.050" allen set screw in the side of the carrier behind the probe tip ... LOOSEN & rotate probe CW a few degrees until handle locks up with desired tension .. tighten set screw ... DONE
So the Allen is so tight,I'm afraid of stripping it round. Maybe insert Allen and lightly tap on it to shock Allen or maybe heat up Allen wrench with a lighter and insert into Allen screw to maybe break loctite loose it it was used? Suggestions???
Is the barrel still tight something had to move on my raw the tiny screws fell out and the probe moved if it was sealing before something had to change
I have a thimble on mine, so the barrel has nothing to do with how the pellet probe seals. The barrel seals up against the thimble on the other side. The thimble is held tight against the action by a grub screw on top.
