pellet s that fit in vulcan

"Turboken77"hello I just ordered a .25 Vulcan from tony at talon tunes I need to know if .25 jsb heavies . 25 polymags fit in the mag thanks and any tips and tricks for the gun
The New JSB heavies in 33.9 grains fit perfectly. I have put about 300 heavy rounds through the Vulcan. The gun is just about settling down. Group sizes with The heavies is pretty neat. Will get tighter as I get used to the Vulcan. The polymags will have a problem cycling given their protruding tips. I harvest tested this but am pretty sure I read about it somewhere.

"KYAirgunner"I have also used the the new heavy Jsbs but I used the mkI and they didn't cycle very well. There is a screw in the center of the magazine that when you loosen should help it feed bigger pellets more easily. I have not tried this but I've heard it works.
Hi KY, can you elaborate on what challenge you faced in cycling the Mk1. I've had a strange experience with the Vulcan mag. At first the mag would cycle but not index properly ie the bolt would get stuck. On investigating I would that the mag was not cycling completely. The bolt was hitting the plastic in the mag. I unscrewed the screw on the mag and tightened the spring and it cycled the MK1 fine. The next day the mag stopped cycling completely. This time the bolt wasn't hitting the plastic, the mag just didn't cycle at all. I had to push the mag out and then back in again and it cycled then. Had to do this for each shot. I think I tightened the spring a bit too much. Now even the 25 grains JSB doesn't cycle. I have to push the mag slightly out and then back in again for it to cycle. I guess loosening the spring is the solution. Just wanted to know what problem you faced with the mk1 pellets. Thanks.

The problem I faced was they were so long that they were creating friction on the inside wall so that the "drum" part of the mag with the spring tension can't cycle the pellets. If I have like 4 pellets in the mag it can cycle because its not pulling on all 9 pellets but when it does cycle it moves very slow and is not always reliable. What I mean by not always reliable is the same problem you explained, the bolt was hitting the plastic on the magazine and not giving a full cycle so I couldn't put the bolt all the way forward. What I would have to do to fix that is take the mag out rotate it with my finger then insert it back into the gun. The accuracy of the mk1s for me was pretty much the exact same accuracy as the .25 grn pellets so I didn't do any experimenting with the mag and just stuck with using the .25 grn pellets.

This is insightful. Thanks KYA. I think I will try to loosen the spring and then give this a shot. If the cycling problem continues then I guess I'll have to switch back to the 25 grains or get the MK2 pellets with shorter skirts.
