Tuning Pellet stuck inside my Daystate Airwolf Action

I got a nice Daystate AirWolf CDT and it shoots like a laser. As good as a Red Wolf as far as I can tell.

But on day 2 a pellet disappeared when I put it in the single shot tray...literally it was gone.

it had rolled backward INTO the action of the gun. I could see it (it was stuck backwards in the hole the probe comes out of), and when I was trying to get it out with dental tool, it dropped ALL THE WAY INTO the action so that it disappeared inside the rifle. Of course the bolt does not want to close all the way and I didn't try and force it.

can I ...should I... de-gas my gun and try to disassemble my action?

or do I need to send it in? -Nate

Hey Nate. I would remove the action from the stock. If you slide the battery pack out you may be able see the pellet. Get a good flashlight and try to locate the pellet. You shouldn't need to de gas the gun if you don't get involved with the valve assembly. Just a hunch. I'm not an expert on the Airwolf, but I have taken mine out of the stock just for a look-see and there is not a whole lot of mechanics there. Just steer clear of the electronics, they might not like any intrusion. If all fails, it's off to AOA. Wish I could be of more help.

Hey, Thanks for all the advice!

Herb, I will try that. I hope it will fall out the bottom with the stock off...that had not occurred to me.

to answer some of the other guys questions:

when it went in, it went only half way into the hole, so half sticking out, but upside down and skewed sideways. It was stuck! it would not fall out and I couldn't even pull it out. With a sharp dental tool, trying not to touch the sides of the hole, I began to deform the pellet in the hopes I could poke and pry it out without messing up the gun. At some point I think I turned it muzzle up, and the deformed ball of lead decided to go all the way in...and it's gone, you can see in the hole, no sign of it. So I think the deformed lead ball may not fall back out as easily as if it were a pellet. I will try to shake it back where I can see it though.

....I will definitely let you know what happens....I will try to remove the stock today.

Thanks again! -Nate

P.S. Odoyle: Thanks for the music, That will help me shake it for sure.

Guys! I shook my butt off and that pellet is completely MIA. I can't hear it or see it.

Fortunately, I may be able to talk AOA into some free Daystate repair on account of my celebrity status.

Did anyone want to see the inside of Daystate's first Electronic gun? (I think).
