Pellets - what would you do different when first buying pellets?

To add, buy from retailers like Utah Airguns, because they carefully pack there pellets the right way, not like idiot's like Bullet Central or Pyramyd Air that pack them with no protection from having the tins fk up

Packing protocol varies somewhat even from the same vendor. I’ve gotten three orders of pellets from Airgun Depot, all of which used the black foam with cutouts. One of the order preparers wrapped the stack of foam and tins in shrinkwrap plastic, which is ideal. The other two orders did not. Some tins had cardboard squares between the upper and lower tiers in the stack, some did not. However, all were foamed, and any extra space in the cardboard box was filled with kraft paper. All tins arrived in excellent condition.

The pellets themselves (so far) have had very few visible imperfections, but neither did the pellets bought from Walmart (cheap pointy Daisy pellets and not-so-cheap Crosman copper domes).

Thank you Captain Obvious

To answer the original question, I wouldn't bother buying a bunch of different pellets like I did back before Al Gore invented the interwebz. I did find out that none of my rifles liked Beeman pellets, but it was an expensive lesson.

Nowadays it's easy enough to do a search and find what pellet others are using because it works best. We do each other a service when we post what works best in a particular airgun. The QB78 .22 prefers Crosman Premier pellets, but some shoot more accurately than others.

Ride on,

J~

Awesomeness!!!🤗
You are very correct as to the parallels!
Pellets react MUCH like an arrow in flight(the flight pattern). Shooting bows when I was a pup; I believe helped me with understanding of flight trajectory. Mainly because one can see an arrow fly rather well vs say bbs or pellets. Pretty much anything that can sling a projectile intrigues me😅🤷‍♂️🤣🎩🤙
By I found my problem
I have a modular suppressor . So I put 4 sections on it. Thoroughly pissed at this point I thought take two sections out. That was it no more fly aways.
