A compilation of my recent war against the chippers with a bonus bunny thrown in. I am loving the dang ThermNight for pesting--just the best of both worlds!

It's like cheating. 11 more days here and then I'll have squirrel footage galoreIt's tempting to try one for daytime squirrel hunting
Season opened here in May but way to hot and the ticks will carry you off. LolIt's like cheating. 11 more days here and then I'll have squirrel footage galore
Doesn't open til mid-september here. I'm jealous! I have a horde of squirrels that have been teasing me the last few weeks.Season opened here in May but way to hot and the ticks will carry you off. Lol
Well I don't have squirrels around my house(live in a pasture). I go hunt them on the creeks around here.Doesn't open til mid-september here. I'm jealous! I have a horde of squirrels that have been teasing me the last few weeks.
That's my exact experience. I was always wanting one or the other. With what I normally target, the thermal is just so handy for detection and then BAM, one button push and into the day/night as main. Love this darn thing.I have an ATN X-sight 4k and a AGM Rattler TS19... I deal with pests day & night and having both in one package is the answer. Daytime benefits are obvious in the case of the thermal only AGM. But even at night, I often find myself wishing for whichever one I'm not using. One of these are going on my wishlist.
What would you say the limitation is distance wise, using the thermal for animals in the squirrel or armadillo size? Can you make them out 40-50yds out? Or are you just getting a head signature? Also, do you have issue finding your quarry under 30yds with the day and night function given that they start at 5x?You bet! Love this scope for pesting!
