How does one score their practice target? On one of the airgun club's results pages there's a 25m Event A score of 238-4. I assume since there are 25 competition targets, that a perfect score is 250. So 238-4 says shooter shot a total of 238 out of 250 and 4 of them were bulls eyes?. Each bull is 10, so 238 - 40 = 198 and 198 divided by 21 more shots, equates to an average of 9.4 per shot for the 21 shots?

Next, a .22 cal pellet hole is bigger than a ring spacing? If a .22 cal pellet punches dead center between two rings what is its score? If you fiddle with the target's paper and roll from the back of the paper and flatten it out you can make the paper hole diameter smaller than the pellet diameter. So what is considered the edge of the hole? If the pellet splits a ring what is the score?
