Photo Thread: Quarry and the Airgun that Took It

While searching through other members’ older posts I thought it might be nice to have a thread showcasing photos of your airguns next to quarry you took with said gun. Good hunting posts get buried under newer posts. So without making us dig for them let’s see those photos!! If you have a thread or post about the pictured hunt, post a link so we can read the details in the event that your photo piques our curiosity.


Since I’m asking I guess I’ll start the thread. I like the colors and lighting in this photo.

.25 Edgun Lelya 2.0 with Vector Veyron 4-16x44mm and JSB Match Diabolo .25, 25.33 grain pellets took and Eastern Gray Squirrel.

Here's one from back in September. Dropped him with the .22 Maverick from about 35 yards, I'm not sure, but I think it was with a JSB Knockout while he was chowing down of fallen apples. 12 1/2 pounds!

Went hunting today heard the pop. No bird. Almost vertical hill .missed two didn't realize they were less than 20 yards. Birds still scared to come off mountain. Maby Next week.

My boys took these two hogs a little over a year ago. Winchester.45 at 50 yards and Badger .40 at 85 yards.

Taken with this .177 Beeman Falcon Rs shooting 10.3 grain JSBs 1000 FPS.

Chest shot at 46 yards with the .22 AR6 Hunting Master revolver shooting 18.13 JSBs 700 FPS.

Twelve yard brain shot with my .22 Tau 7 adorned with prairie rattler furniture accents and shooting 14.3 grain JSBs at 500+ FPS... came just a little too late to save my resident bullfrog!

Thirty-five yard offhand shot with my customized Crosman 150 shooting 14.3 grain JSBs at 460 FPS.

Zasadny customized .177 Tau MK08 zings 8.4 grain JSBs about 700 FPS, and averages .70" five shot groups at 50 yards. I don't like rats!

The 9mm custom Crosman Co2 pistol got about 350 FPS with 65 grain round balls and 1" groups at 25 yards. After switching to a polished grip frame that gem was lovely enough to be the cover photo-

One of many groundhogs I took last year with the Benjamin Bulldog .357. Bulldog was shooting JSB Exacts.

@Estarkey7 That groundhog pic on the asphalt with the Bulldog behind is nice! I like the colors.

@Ezana4CE: yes you definitely can eat jack rabbits or hare. Hares are a delicacy in UK and EU, they taste like very lean beef and even looks like lean beef or very dark. It is nothing like the cottontail rabbits which do taste like chicken. Just with any rabbit you do need to make sure they are healthy by check their liver.
