The forestock of the K1 is not parallel with the barrel. I would like to mount an illuminator on the underside of the forestock where the swivel stud is located. It seems like all of them sit flush with the stock which points the beam upward in relation to the barrel. Does anyone have a solution for this problem? I would really like to keep the illuminator on the underside. Kevin

Would something like this work? You could mount the Picatinny rail flush to the stock and then mount your illuminator to it and adjust tihs to level the beam.

I think somethink like that would work but I would prefer lower profile and more secure fixation than a thumb screw.
