I can't see your pics but will offer that I own both the 2300T and the 2300S. I've also owned a 2240 at one time. The triggers on all 3 are very similar but the 2300T/S series adds a rudimentary weight adjustment system. Both 2300's have a "better" than 2240 trigger but not close to match grade. The factory claims a 1# trigger can be had on the 2300's but I've not seen better than 2.5 "as delivered". The 2400 is fixed at around 4# as memory serves. The biggest downside to all 3 triggers is the inherent creep from their simplified design and rough parts. All are easy enough to improve with various levels of cost and effort..
Many owners upgrade these triggers with aftermarket parts or by substituting in the trigger group from the Crosman 1701P/Marauder Pistol. The later trigger group is MUCH better and allows the user to adjust first stage, second stage and pull weight independently. I've got 2300S (w 1701P trigger group) down to fairly crisp 10 oz. Cost for the complete 1701P system (assembled in the frame) is in the $70-90 range for the upgrade depending on where you buy it. Of course, a $2 spring change is at the other end of the spectrum but still an improvement.
My current goal with my recently purchased 2300T is to see how good I can set it up for 10M within a $300 budget. I'm going to start with a spring swap and some polishing of the trigger and sear surfaces. 3D printed target grips are next.
A pic of my 2300S just because no thread should go without eye candy.
