picked up a benjamin prowler .22 pawn shop $40. crap ?

I've got one of those little guys and have tons of fun plinking in the back yard with it. You can do a simple trigger mod (youtube benjamin bearing trigger mod) and it will make your shooting more enjoyable. I actually polished the bore on mine and tightened up the groups slightly... prolly wasn't worth the time I took to do it, but I was curious.

Have fun and enjoy it! Great price!

Hey my dude let me tell you why all cheap guns are cool and for the record 40 isnt bad but 35 would be better. Anyway I was going to get rid of my gamo hornet because it is unmoderated the barrel is wrapped in cheap plastic and it wasn't very accurate. Instead of selling it I taught myself how to tear it apart, smooth out all the tool marks and metal shavings especially around the diaphragm area, clean out that tube, replace said diaphragm and seals, buy a replacement spring of rediculous quality from mcmaster carr or whatever, take that spring and run it on a belt sander to flatten the ends for a perfect fit and finnaly lap the barrel and duracoat the gun. If you already have the confidence to do all yhat stuff to an 800 dollar gun good on ya but for me that cheap pellet gun gave me knowledge without fear of losing a tx 200 or air arms to my own stupidity.long story short good buy now go destroy it and learn something 😉

I have one I picked up at Wally World in store for $64.99 (online price match )

i then bought a centerpoint 3x9x32 mil dot rimfire scope for it for $32

sighted it in with jsb 18.1 gr pellets at 30 yds and it's amazing !! While I don't shoot it much I really like it and think it's a good buy in a np rifle due

to its accuracy and descent trigger could it be better ?? Sure but for out of box performance it's a good entry level rifle and for $40 even better
