I had a nice time with my family today, going to a friend's farmhouse for picnic.
I also carried my M3 with .22 BSA barrel.
Tested four types of slugs of various grains and head sizes at 40 yards. Slugs were made by a friend.
Wind was in high gusts. But I had the protection of a wall on one side.
Here below are groups of four kinds of slugs.
Below is group of 15 slugs.
Following are 10 slugs.
Below are three groups of two kinds of slugs which the barrel didn't like.
Following is group with jsb 18.13 grain 12 pellets at 935fps.
JSB 18.13 grain opened the group a bit due to wind.
Overall the rest for the gun was not appropriate and I am sure that with a better rest, better results can be achieved.
