Picture files too large?

I haven't had them refused yet but some of my pictures were big so I started reducing them. Easiest is to take the picture where you have stuff to crop around the target. Then use the Google photo editor to crop out what is unnecessary.

The size my phone wants to use is way too big for a computer monitor. Even with cropping the pictures have detail that is not visible.

now I gotz to test an old photo, a happy one, a little blue colored bird Happy New Year, I crop the photo while it is still in my phone before I send it to my desktop, from there I download to post on AirgunNation

Open picture with paint, choose " adjust size " double clock on Horizontal so the 100% get highlighted, and change that to say 30, this should also change the vertical to 30.
then choose save as JPG and give it a name, and presto your picture are now 30 % of its original size.

I always do this with the 60 megapixel pictures from my phone main camera, the 12 megapixel cameras pictures i just resize to 50 %

SOme fora will do this for you but as it is done in seconds and i am a nice guy, i prefer to do it myself.

If you want i can whip up a demo video NP

cropping just a part of the picture here i resize it to 80 % to be a little smaller, then i mark and cut the part of the picture i want.
I then start a new project, and that have a huge paper to work with.

I then resize the blank paper that is larger than my picture, if i did not do that the picture would just be in the upper L corner of the larger white paper.
But making the white paper very small it automatic get the same size of what ever you throw on it, so when it is small i press CTRL + V to paste the part of the photo i cut out onto the paper, and then it is just save as JPG and name again.

Sorry the lingo on my windows it is set up to Danish, but the different things are placed in the same places, and Roter in Danish close to the English Rotate.
In thes examples i rotate the picture 90 degrees to the left

All this monkey business is why I don't post pictures on Gateway or Airguns BBS. I would have never even posted this information about Noricas and it's been very helpful to so many owners. There's a lot of them out there and very little info. Two year old thread and here it popped up again yesterday. I'm really pleased that I am able to help. I also have a bunch of informative threads with lots of pics on Warriors in "metal shop". A lot of hard to find Prewar BSA stuff. Everything was just simply loaded from a file.
