Pictures of various hose connects (information>

One area of confusion we notice at TopGun-Airguns is a lot of people have a hard time either describing, discerning, or determining various hose connections.
A lot of people get 1/8" vs. 1/4" confused, as well as BSPP/BSPT/NPT.

in order to help the forum members figure what each one looks like, here is a link to a page. Tap on any of the types of connectors, and a picture will show up.
For this to work, you WILL NEED TO choose 40" hose length (it needs that piece of information).

Let me know if this kind of information is helpful. And, if you know of a particular connector that you would like added, put it down below as a reply.
Thanks for keeping the thread "live" with your feeedback.

1/8 npt, 1/8 bssp, 1/8g. The principles transfer across size mostly. Tapered pipe, straight pipe, straight with oring. 1/8 or 1/4 does not correlate to thread diameter but was meant to be air passage size. Foster fittings and knockoffs, worst yet brass knockoffs are worth noting. Thread class is something to read about as well.

I went and replaced my fittings on my great white with stainless fosters after a tight fit issue on the male nipple with my female connectors.

I expected to see some technical information. When I clicked on the link it's more like an ad for your parts. Just my humble opinion.
I don't want to re-invent the wheel, but the other gentlemen had some good points, i.e. put a ruler next to them to show scale.

I'll update as suggested with a ruler to show scale, etc..
Thanks for the input.

I'm a moderate drive from you guys, if you wanted some worn connectors milled in half for display purposes you can dm me. I'm the one that sent all the hams your way. Now my un might make more sense.

I got a few micro bore hoses I use on my small tanks, I have some hose that is not micro bore I use on my big tanks?
Am I wasting a lot of air with the bigger hoses not longer just bigger hose??
Mike
Technically yes, you could calculate the volume of the hose internal size and then factor in pressure and know at least what the blow down of the hose(discounting connector volumes) is wasting.

And I saw nothing, because I was blocked. 🤔
I'm blocked 🚫 to I can't access the page

Thanks so much for this! Very timely for me, too!
I purchased a small Carette filter from you about 21/2 years ago (you did video with Target Forge on GX CS2) on this. Anyhow, the one way “entrance” valve, from the compressor, at the bottom of the filter is leaking and needs to be replaced. Can you advise what size is needed for this? Thanks in advance for your help!!
