Yea, that's been a problem. On that particular scope I am unable to put the side shot to the side. Only above the scope, because of the QD mounts handles. When I mount it above, the phone at flip the picture to make it smaller. I'll have to fix it one of these days.
I use an App called Open Camera, it has an option to lock the orientation of the screen. Also let's you do a bunch of other stuff that helps with scope camera use.
On the editing side, I use Cyberlink Power Director. It also let's you tweak things, zoom and rotate the image, etc.
Yep you came to the same conclusions as I would have in the end. The main couple wind drift and air consumption. Save the 35 cal for the groundhogs. Bill
