Pigeon Killing this is fantastic

Wow! I wonder what pellet and speed he’s shooting at. My .25 Huben shoots the 34 gr JSB’s at 1027 fps. I’d be afraid I’d shoot through the roof.

It's a concrete roof, bud 😊 You won't be able top put a hole in it with a .308. However, there are rules there - no shooting at windows and pipes (also no pigeon carcasses left behind, but that's a different story).

I shoot the JSB Exact Kings 25.39 grain at about 870-875 fps. That's half the energy the K1 is capable of delivering, I know. 😉 But it's indoors, so I have to be careful.

Nice video. I HOPE the grain is being made into vodka.

I'd have a wheelbarrow and square shovel for that corpse cleanout.

Collecting the corpses takes a lot of time indeed... It's also one of the conditions for us to shoot there. Last time it took us 2 hours, it was insane - I was wading the heaps of grain wearing fisherman's waders: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mJafb1xZfBM

No idea what they use the grain for...

I like the fact that the shots were made without having to look thru a d%$# FFP scope and the constant use of a range finder and some stupid comment after each kill shot.. Just straight up killing of pigeons... Well done IMO...

Okay, I must admit I have videos with a lot of "d%$# FFP scope" footage 😄 But I do know they are not to everyone's liking, so I record through a "third person" camera only. I'm glad you enjoyed that one, buddy 👍

Matt no problem, but that is 3 tins IF you had 100 % connection. Also, imagine all the refills. I don’t know how many shots you get per fill on a Huber K1, however, I am sure there were a couple of dozen.

17 in.25, 19 in .22

That is a lot refills.. Might could use a small bottle with a high pressure hose or maybe somehow incorporate a bottle.. Still an epic day and epic video...

I think there's a small misunderstanding here... 17 and 19 shots is the magazine capacity in .25 and .22 cal respectively. You get a lot more shots per (air tank) fill. The exact number depends on the reg and valve setting, of course (no hammer on that PCP), and the fill pressure of the cylinder. It is fairly large at 300cc and an insane fill pressure of 350 bar! Technically there's no overfilling that gun. The air tank is made of Titanium, hence the higher fill pressure. Shooting the 25 grainers at 870-875 fps gives me several full mags (never bothered to count) and that's from filling the gun up to no more than 250 bar.

Lol I have shared this one a couple of times. I talk to Alex all the time we both subscribe to each other's channel. They killed an estimated 500 just that trip obviously not all on camera. Alex is happy to tell you about his rig and what it is tuned for in the comments or follow him on Instagram.

Agreed, Alex is a super nice guy and it is great how much he engages with his viewers and followers.

Thank you kindly, gentlemen 😊 So very nice of you!

I'm really happy to converse with all of you, fine Sirs 😊 Sharing experience - what's this hobby without it?

I think I've watched all of your pigeon vids like twice. It never gets old.

The owner of that grain storage facility really needs to seal up where the birds are getting in if he ever hopes to be rid of them though. I know that would end your fun sooner though.

I'd kill for a shooting permission like that. You must be enjoying that immensely. I know the clean up is no fun, but still...worth it.

I have no idea where I could get a job like that around Dallas, TX, but if anyone knows of something, hit me up!

I used to work for my grandfather and would have to walk in piles of grain. Very difficult to do and the dust was really bad. Was thinking about your situation and snow shoes ( grain shoes) might the ticket? Might have to modify in some way. Also one of those trash picker uppers. Has a gripper on the end and is actuated via ones hand. All good problems to have.

Pretty awesome ..... But would actually be more fun with a 12-20 fpe .177 running very quiet !! Would get far less mass fly offs, less impact noise and building damage, use a lot less air and less costly pellets too.

But HEY !!! it is what it is and GAME ON !!!!

Nice video ......

I agree. With that much shooting, the .177 or .22 springer is coming out to play. That, or a gun tethered to a 100 cubic foot tank to roll around on a frikken dolly.

It looks like a lot of fun though. I would pay good money to shoot in that place, like $100-$200 a day easily. Especially if I could fill 2-3 lawn bags with some squab!

The manager said he tried shooting a springer there. After half an hour and a sore arm he gave up trying ;) Hundreds of consecutive shots with a break barrel... I don't know, buddy ;)
