Took the akela for a walk today. The bushy tails were on to us so we just plinked at pine cones and enjoyed the view!

Nice day for a walk! We too had great weather in the PNW. Between emergency work calls and yard maintenance, I manage to cook for a group of 8 visitors.

Brings back fond memories of Steelhead fishing in the Cowlitz when I was stationed at Ft Lewis with the 1st SFG(A). Great pics.

Use to do that all of the time when I lived in Lucerne valley. I had 82 trees on the property and most were pine trees. All I have now is hundreds of juniper trees and no pinecones.
