Snowpeak Pinty Bullpup

Do you know the thread size of the sear screw?
I checked. On my P15 it's M3x0,5 which i believe is the standard thread pitch on an M3 bolt.
The hex key is 1,5mm and the nut is 5,5mm.
I assume there's plenty of room for any type of bolt so one wouldn't be tied to the original. Phillips or any type should fit and they are a lot easier to find.

Thanks for the pictures. I see there are a few upgrades after P15.
There's a built-in plenum too. No wonder it puts out such a decent amount of energy.

The sear adjustment screw is an easy fix and there are many options. Just don't go paying top dollars for it. The way I see it, there's no risk of structural integrity and the job is simple enough with a few basic tools.

A gem for the price 👍
I like the bullpup except for the leak and the trigger which stopped working until I spent 2-3 hours disassembling the airgun :)

It does look like a P35. The linkage rod on the P35 is attached near the sear by a tiny and C clip. I actually got some tiny cotters pins in case I loose one, however. The coil spring closer to the trigger will probably decrease the trigger pull weight if you relax it. I have made my P35s not cock by not having the action clamps not in the right spot after pulling the barrel. Seems possible on the Pinty. The stock is probably cut out for the clamps and can be used as a guide to the right position.

I have received my Pinty bullpup today. To me it seems like good quality, especially for how much I paid for it. I aired it up and shot 1 mag (9shots) then aired it up again and left it to check for leaks until tomorrow. Anyone know if the mags are proprietary or if other mags work/fit? I like to have several mags for each of my rifles or pistols airguns.

I asked about extra mags, they did not offer any- Said they would consider If enough people ask... send them a message. Seems they pay attention to requests.

I bet if enough show interest Troy at Big Air Precision would make these mags. I had him make the high capacity mags for the Xisico Sentry and they are now available on his website. He is located here in the US (KS) and he's a great guy to deal with. Turn around was quick, fast and in a hurry and he nailed it on the first try.

Just heard back from Troy. He is ice fishing until midweek & has some other projects on the burner but will look into it & get back to me. I had sent him my .177 Bull Shark mag & even though it would have been easier if he had the rifle in hand, he nailed it right the first try. Plus they are 14 shot mags
I have hi cap mags from him for the NOTOS, Sentry and the Avenger... all work perfectly.

Update on the leak test. So its been about 18 hours since aired up and left to check for leaks. It seems that there was no air leaking at all. The needle is exactly where it was when i put it away. So far so good. I have also purchased https://www.aliexpress.us/item/3256806716216181.html?gatewayAdapt=glo2usa4itemAdapt to see how much quieter if at all.
Mine has been leaking since I received it.
I have opened up the air rube, pressure gaige, regulator and looked at all the orings and they looked fine.

About the only thing left is the valve.

Chasing the leak can be a pain.
Have you tried locating the leak using some foam?
It doesn't have to be high end stuff. You'll get the same results using heavily foaming Fairy dishwashing fluid or similar. Just fill the rifle up and apply foam anywhere, preferably around possible leak points like the fill area and barrel tip. It will be of great benefit to try and plug them holes a little, like inserting the fill probe and even sticking an ear plug or something equally harmless in the barrel because the foam doesn't usually work on large openings. If and when the leak presents itself you'll know...

These are all simple tools. I don't know if You have gone this route already.
Maybe someone will take something from this and that is a good thing.

This type of problem solving will go a long way. In the distant future you'll know right away which O-ring to change and You can do it on the field. You need 5 minutes, hex keys and a rag 👍

All the best

Believe me, the foamy water is the first thing I would use for fast leaks.
But this is a slow leak, about 50 bars in 10 hours.
All foamy water would long evaporate before it makes any bubbles.

So, I will have to do it the hard way.
The next step is putting on my magnifying glasses, opening up the valve and looking at o'rings.

That will be tomorrow when my wife is not at home to complain about my tinkering :)

Well I thought You indeed may have experience.
The 50bar would be borderline. I would still try foaming her up to fill limit.
I'm not in any way affiliated with Fairy products but I have to say it's a fine tool. The cheap copies usually won't do it.

There's the manometer too. Mine popped out and I had a hard time finding the replacement with its super custom thread size. I found one on AliExpress but luckily they can be found closer nowadays.

I already inspected the pressure gauge/manometer o'rings and they looked fine.
If I cannot find any o'rings looking bad I will just replace all of them.
