Snowpeak Pinty Bullpup

Could be the pressure gauge itself is faulty and leaking
My thought exactly.
When mine blew apart I replaced it with a suitable bolt just to get out hunting.
There's a pressure gauge on the scuba tank fill system and it was easy enough just to shoot all my two mags before topping up.

The P15 type is probably the best platform to tinker.

Nah, the AF single shot platform is both the simplest and varied for tinkering. Parts options are available from multiple vendors and the options are WELL proven due to the longevity of the platform.

Sure. I was thinking repeaters. Are all Air Force rifles regulated?
None stock as far as I know. But very easy to do. Take the valve off the bottle, insert regulator. M18-1.5 threads so Huben Power Dream Universal drop block or the Cricket Max-ATH just plug right in. Bigger bottle, just screws on on. Want to go from .177 to .25, sure, barrel change is 5 minutes. Want to jack up the power? High flow valve, heavy spring, heavy hammer, 15 minutes. How big a tank and how much power are yours to decide.

My .22 Talon with 1.1L bottle, Max-ATH regulator.
Internal: 90g hammer, heavy spring, 19 inch barrel.
When i cranked the regulator up to 3000psi, the power wheel to 10 with the heavy hammer and spring I got 1100FPS and around 70FPE with 25.4gr .22 Apolo Monster pellets. Which is double what I got with the stock 12 inch barrel, hammer and spring.

Now I run at 1800psi and get 40FPE and hundreds of shots per fill. 50CC plenum on the Max-ATH is a great addition.

I also had to break out my Dremel to fix the trigger problem. The correct way would have been to shim the trigger. I was just in too much of a hurry & I used the Dremel. I think Chinese engineers spec their products on the loose side so that assembly goes by without a hitch. I would like to see a video of SPA production of Airguns! But I know that won't happen soon. Hope you can find your leak.

Did anyone atually receive one with an actual Picatinny scope rail?... Read some were coming with smaller 19mm buy factory error.. 19 is what I was sent also. Wider mounds will shift of bore center- to the clamp side.
Factory admits there was an error and is manufacturing new picatinny rails or $30 refund. Have to contact them.

Hi - thanks, will contact them. Just wondering if any correct ones were delivered..
Finally heard back from them, sounds like they forgot this is happening to others, They want pictures and videos as proof.... I told them I could send the rails or if not the guns back (more then one) ... no air has ever been in them... I do like them and willing to fix them with provided parts, but do not want to deal with any offset issues in the rail.

Pinty was highly responsive for my shipping damaged rifle, I was annoyed at first with the pics and video request. Upon sending the required video within a day I had a return label. When they got notification it was in shipping my replacement rifle shipped. It made the trip damage free, I'll dig in to the trigger next.
Hopefully it all works out.... Who knows, maybe we will see a bottle version of it in the future... for the price, its a great little carbine.

That suckes that you can't find the slow leak. If it was mine & I was returning it anyway, I would put it in the bathtub & the leak will show up. At least you''ll solve your curiosity as to where the leak is. Could just be something overlooked?
I managed to fix the leak.
The original leak was caused by the valve face and valve stem not sealing together.

In the process of finding and fixing the leak I probably disassembled the airgun 5+ times.
I managed to put some small marks on the valve face so I had to resurface it.

I also burnished the valve by hand.

I had several issues with my bullpup which I mostly fixed.

The only issues I still have is with the picatinny rail.
It is attached to the receiver with 3 screws and they are all stripped, or the screw holes are.
I replaced them with slightly longer M3 screws for the 2 in the front and they seem to hold now.
But the screw in the rear has a very short hole which is stripped.
So the rail is only held by the 2 screws in the front.

By the way, there are no magazines available and none of the Snowpeak magazines (P35, P15, etc) fit.

I think that for the $260 price plus tax there are better options with less headache.
