PIP on the Zulus

Is anyone using the PIP function on the Zulus? I was playing around with it today inn sparrows and that PIP is surprisingly clear while really giving a very close up view of the crosshaiys.

I'm also curious of what the magnification of the PIP is relative to the scope setting.

I use it about half of the time. It's very handy to ID something, (and you can use it also perfectly as aiming reticle!) but it takes up quite a lot of screen, so not ideal for scanning and detection. The clarity is, as you said: awesome!

It would be nice if Arken could dedicate a shortcut button (e.g. powerbutton quick press is not yet designated in normal ops screen) to turn it on and off instantly without going into the menu.

Just turned mine on after this post and was immediately smoking small chalk pieces from 25 yards to 50 in the dark. Will be using this feature in certain situations going forward…

I did not find it “hindering” to scanning, as I simply look at the main crosshair and then engage the target with the PIP crosshair…

OK, played a little more with PIP, am definitely using it going forward for precise shooting…

I've only had mine less than two weeks and haven't investigated the PIP yet. I will have to give it a try!

I turned mine on for a minute earlier today. Will have to play with it more and see if I like it

I used the PIP for around 100 shots yesterday. I think it will come in handy on further starlings and HOSP. I too think a shortcut button would be great.
Now I have a chrony I’m off to the ballistics action. This Arken is great for research. I’m kind of on the fence sometimes though whether this will replace my optic most of the time or some of the time for squirrel hunting.

One con I did find on the PIP is that it makes my groups look SO much bigger.
