Pistol grips for the Maverick ?

I have pretty big paws and the grip on my new Maverick is on the small side and not that comfortable for me...

Ive been looking around and it seems the Ergo tactical grips might be the ticket!

My question is has anyone tried the 0 angle grips apposed to the standard tactical?

Looks like it might put your wrist in a more natural position for the way these bullpups are designed?

Saber tactical butt stock is next on the list...lol

My son uses the Ergo on his Maverick and loves it. I agree with Eaglehorn though, the whole line up of Anarchy Outdoor’s grips are awesome. I have one on my Impact and quite a few on my AR15’s. They have a palm shelf, thumb rest and are zero degree. They even come in right or left hand and different sizes for different sized hands.

When I first started using one for an air gun, the owner told me to spread the word and made a discount code to share on AGN. I can’t remember if it is 5% or 10% but the code is “friends”. That was a long time ago but I think it still works.

Merry Christmas, Stoti

I use an Ergo grip that was made with a beavertail. Chopped off the beavertail and now it fix perfect for my hand.

I've also got larger hands.

As noted above, see my thread on chassis gun grips.

The Anarchy, Tuxedo (noted above) is a grip for small hands. If you like that grip style, get the Emperor. same design, but longer for larger hands. They are vertical (90° to the barrel) grips. While I like it's being vertical, there nothing in the meat of your hand. I don't like that feeling.

Ergo (Flat top Tactical) has a 15° grip and a vertical grip that nicely fill a larger hand. Right now I have the 15° Ergo on my Maverick, and the vertical Ergo grip on my Prophet. Both feel good. I've got a second, Ergo vertical grip...just in case.

Google is your friend..! Just type in "Vertical AR grips" into Google, you'll have hours of stuff to look at. Hint - "Cheaper than Dirt".

I now have a hand full, of grips that are residing in a box, not to be used.

Friend had a Ergo Vertical on his Maverick and I had a chance to shoot it on Wednesday. fantastic for a large hand. I had ordered a Flat top Tactical before shooting his, will order a Ergo Vertical next. Thanks for the great data.

I have used (and have on my Dreamline Tactical) the Ergo 0 degree grips. In quite like them, which is why they are still on the gun. More recently I picked up a couple of Anarchy Outdoors grips (the Emperor and the Tuxedo). Both are also 0 degree angle grips. The Emperor currently resides on my Impact, and the Tuxedo is going on one of my AR15s

Thanks for all the great info guys!!! Awesome 👍

I'm heading up to Harrison this morning to High Pressure Pneumatics...he has Ergo's in stock to check out first hand! Knife made a great point about taking the kink out of your wrist...in spring I do a lot of shooting out the truck door for woodchucks!!!😜

Also picking up an Element Helix 6-24×50 FFP to go on top!!! Maybe order a superior heavy 600mm liner....lol.

Holler back after my trip today!

That's the whole reason I started the first thread about more vertical grips..! To "fix" the crappy angle of the factory grip. It wasn't just Knife, it was a whole other thread on the subject, with many people adding their bit of info.

Another reason to use the "search" function..!

Sorry Mike I missed that link!!!

I went back and read it all and came to the same conclusion...lol.

I bought the Ergo 0 today and a Saber Tactical adjustable butt pad....freaking sweet!!! I also ordered a 480cc carbon bottle and a new style superior barrel with 1:27 twist...my 600mm that came from the factory is 1:37 ! Shoots pellets well but slugs not so much!
