@KerndtcThe angle of the original picture made the barrel shroud seem like it was a bit larger in diameter. Right at the legal limit, right where I run mine. I think I'm at 2.95". Looks like a fun rig and nicely adjustable.
I'm not sure if and when we may cross paths and shoot at the same pistol ft match but it would be fun to have some mano a mano fun with our rigs. I'd love to check one out and hopefully change my overall opinion from the past ones I've handled.
No brocock I've tried semi recently like the atomic has excited me whatsoever, crude trigger minimal shot count and meh accuracy. I see this has a nice bottle on it, probably 300cc+? Plenty of shots I bet!
As for the raw having nothing on it, really the only thing I could think of is an on the fly transfer port adjustment. Convenient for sure. The RAW is no slouch, equally accurate off a bench , and skilled shooter such as yourself could kick ass with either.

yep... acquired one of those 220 bottles but the NECK was too big to accomodate RAW' valve / threads.I believe the smallest I've seen is 180-200cc, BSA or daystate had a super small bottle at some point. As far as new bottles I've seen around, probably 220cc carbon bottles.

Can't wait to join the EFT pistolero club. Textreme cometh.View attachment 426204

Don’t have many as these cover both 20 FP Pistol Extrem FT and with 2 clicks of the transfer port power adjuster, I’ve tuned them to also cover AAFTA 12 FP Pistol FT. BRKs are on it
I have been fiddling plenty with these pistol pets... I keep moving the scopes lower and more to the rear to help with balance and eyebox. To date the Daystate monorail hasn't created any known issues but i keep it out of the sun on the course. Currently working to reduce the size of the air bottle... don't need 200 plus shots before refill.Don't shoot the messenger ...
But a mount such as shown with so much cantilever / overreach I would NOT trust for precision work. There will be springiness and/or movement with temp shifts etc ... Unless proven otherwise ( being stable and POI consistent ) that's my opinion and willing to state it as such.
there are some 9ci bottles out there on ebay but the weight vs the 13ci carbon cant be any lighter. I love the 13ci you showed above, I have 2. One going on my RAW and one is on a crosman build.I have been fiddling plenty with these pistol pets... I keep moving the scopes lower and more to the rear to help with balance and eyebox. latest set up with the Atomic - just got the stock off and the Air Superiority Power Adjust installed... hoping to tune it today and see what FPE it maxes at and FPE it minimizes at.I run a 200cc aluminum BSA R10 bottle with its oem manifold, or a 220cc CF bottle 18mm threaded on an oem Raw manifold.
Both directly screw into the Regulator w/o issue or leaking.
As to scope position .. pending how you hold/support will dictate position more than balance.
Personally shoot in a deadman / lap / seated position having grip resting on my right knee and bipod just outside my left. my head drops into lap requiring optic being quite a ways forward.
Those shooting out in front and supported with elbows on knees .. scope more rearward.
I have decided to also join the Tenacious BRK Pathfinder Pistoli club! Hope to be shooting it this DEC at TEXTREMEI just got a pathfinder from Derrick tonight…I will be mounting a scope on it tomorrow and hope to get it sighted in. There is the “Crusty Critter” as I call it, pistol shoot on Tuesday I plan on shooting at. I shot Derrick’s pistol at Textreme last year and it is nice.
