Hey! I'm new to big boar air rifles, and currently on the market doing tons of research trying to find the right one to start with. Everything im looking for brings me back to the bulldog especially after finding these pitbull mods. Now from reading there website they claim they can increase power without sacrificing the use of more air. They actually claim their regulators will be efficient on air even with power upgrade. Im hearing rummor of approximately 100 psi used per shot? Now your saying with stock power if you adjust your hammer spring your getting 35 shots???!!? That's incredible. Now are these shots consistent? What kind of fpe are you averaging for what grains? Im curious as to how much power your loosing to increase shot count by that much. Im interested in your set up. What im looking for is a bulldog with a power upgrade to get it in the 225 fpe range, AND if I can get 15 shots that would be prime. Is it true you can only either have more power or more shots,? I wonder if there is a middle ground of regulator giving you more shots as it uses less air, with some power boosted if not all. Like instead if a full power upgrade just get a new spring and hammer spring adjustment and maybe we can get a 15 shot count averaging 200 fpe? Sorry for all the questions im new to this. My main question is about you getting 35 shots. Can you give more detail on the power of those shots. Is it difficult to adjust your own hammer spring? Lastly ... They offer something called a bully tube that allows you too safely fill to 3400 psi. Now should I assume this will give me about 5 more shots? They also offer a phleneum which seems similar to bully tube. Adds an additional 140cc. To be honest I don't really understand the difference between bully and phleneum just that they increase air capacity. What are your thoughts and opinion in this confusing matter?
