Planning for Extreme FT - Looking for guidance on reasonable target difficulties

wait wait wait. During all the XFT positional debates, I got ridiculed for suggesting that a bumbag might be a more stable position and therefore offer an advantage. More than one self-proclaimed expert with lots of "experience" saying no benefit from a bumbag. Ahhh this is a good memory.

Perhaps there were some ulterior motives going on in all that discussion?!? My wife tells me all the time that I'm too cynical and generally don't think very highly of the human condition. And then I get reassurances like this one of what a self-serving bunch of #@$@# we humans are. Classic.

Yes, another perfect example of why positional limitations/restrictions are NECESSARY. Bucket or stool and bipod or sticks. That's it. Everybody can shoot from that position so it is, again, the most equitable. Fair is fair, except for when somebody is making rules to benefit themselves.
See, that's EXACTLY my point. NONE of the EFT GP events dictate the same position for everyone... Then there's the plethora of shooters that push the limit with the bipod, adding long "hog saddles" instead of a U or V shape at the top for stability. I saw them in Utah, AZ and TX. Shooters WILL push the limits, it's in the human condition...

Kinda like Animal Farm - where all animals are created equal, except some are more equal than others... :ROFLMAO:

I agree and this will be addressed at the next meeting.
