Please tell me want is going on when my Artemis

PP750 .177 air pressure goes up after sitting for an hour.I stop shooting it at around 1600 psi. and when I picked it up again the gauge reads about 2000psi...?

I have only about 250 pellets though it,I can only hand pump it about 2500psi and that is it,I don't know if it is my pump or pistol,...at that pressure it just pumps the air back to the pump....and by the time I get the pump line disconnected pistol reads about 2200psi.

Wait! there's more! From 2200 to roughly 1800psi I get no more than 28 good shots,I believe that is what it is "suppose" to get.

This my first regulated PCP ,I am a novice at this type regulated system,I do understand the concept, just not how to change it if I wanted to.

Also do not know what turning the hammer adjustment does, lets more air in or what.I would like to get as many shots as possible.

It is the lower power model.Thank you for your help.

You're not too far from me, we could meet up somewhere outdoors and I could try filling it to 250 bar with my tank.

I need to go get it topped off, I've been lazy and just hand pumping, but am going to dive shop today.

I was planning to drive over to Benecia to check out the state park for salmon fishing in the next day or so, could easily meet up somewhere near to you, see if this gun of yours will take a full fill or not.

It may not solve anything, but at least by eliminating the fill issue, you may be able to narrow the diagnosis down.

Just PM me and we can figure it out

You need to bleed the pump unscrew it real Super quick to not lose too much pressure. If you unscrew it slowly you will piss out too much air.

You need to bend your knees and use your weight to pump it or just have a stronger guy pump it for you. Even a big fat guy can do it easily. It does get a little harder to pump past 2500psi if you are too weak or don't use proper pumping technique.
