Somehow my gk1 barrel got damaged with ring shaped indentations in it, some of you may have seen my thread about it. I had to buy a new barrel and magazine setup from wolfiek. Trouble is, the new one doesn't fit .254 slugs, which is what i make and what my k1 rifle also shoots.

I'm looking for someone who will trade me their gk1 barrel and magazine assembly that they know fits and likes .254 slugs for the new one I have which likes smaller diameter projectiles. (I assume .253 but haven't tested yet, will update when I know for sure what it likes) this will save me the trouble of buying a reducer die or new die and allow me to keep making the same slugs for both my k1 and gk1 which simplifies my ammo situation greatly. To make it worth your while I will cover your shipping cost, and if you want, I can give you parts from my old barrel and magazine, or the entire assembly. Or if you shoot any .457 or an AEA in .460, i can give you some free cup base or RBT slugs for it as a thank you. Also, the new barrel I just got, I polished, so it should provide you with better velocity consistency and perhaps even improved velocity and accuracy.

If you only shoot pellets and don't care for slugs but know yours does fit and like .254 slugs, this trade makes sense for you as the smaller diameter of mine should hold pellets in place better than a .254 magazine. Or if maybe you'd prefer a barrel that shoots smaller diameter slugs for some reason, please consider trading me. I may also be willing to just trade the entire gk1 for yours if you don't want to take it apart.

I just really don't like the idea of buying a reducer ( which will greatly increase the time needed to produce slugs) or new swage die (which costs 5X what a reducer does) and having to label my slug tins for my gk1 and k1 differently and not being able to share ammo between them
