Pleased with bsa r10 se reg

Check this out, no need for a huma on this one yet!

Shots 1-33

high 731

low 729

I had a spike after the reg fell off so I need to tune the hammer spring but this is untouched from the factory with jsb 25.39 .22 cal. I will prob bump it up to around 750fps to get rid of the spike. Overall I really like the gun. Trigger is nice ( needed slight adjustment on the second stage), stock is nice and beefy and looks awesome. Only complains would be its just slightly under powered. 40fpe would be perfect but I can live with a pellet stacking performance at 50 yards and 30 fpe!

I have the R10 SE/TH "Nutmeg Laminate" and LOVE IT. WAS on sale at AA for $999, what a deal that was.

You have the 200 or 280cc tank? Either way is great.

It will 'reach out' too!

Shooting JSB / FX 18.1 at 774fps
Shooting JSB / FX 15.9 at 830fps

Vmaxpro, you may find that you need to reduce (not increase) the hammer strike to not get the velocity spike when your gun drops off the reg. You may loose a couple fps while on the reg but gain a few shots at or near the regulated velocity.

Or... Keep the same hammer spring setting and turn up the regulator just a tiny bit.

Of course any adjustments take a bit of tweaking to get the balance between reg and hammer "just right" but that's part of the airgunning fun.

Wow Johnny, not bad at all. I can’t even look at a R10 without ruining the next week of my life wanting one. Another gun is the last thing I need.

Thank You. I am happy with that and could do better. It's difficult to shoot at 100yards for lack of decent location and there is ALWAYS wind somewhere between the muzzle and the bull. 100 is too far

Looks good johnny!!!

Thanks Man. 1 I'd love to see your gun if you feel like posting a pic that would be great, if not I understand.

That's SAWEET. It's hard keep up on my posts here so it takes a while to loop back around. Mine has become a wee bit of 'safe queen' after getting the TaipanVL.25 but it will DEFINITELY be going to Eastern Oregon for sage rat shooting when I go in the near future. My poor BSA has never seen Eastern Oregon, so sad.

The gun is awesome...... EVERY time I pick it up, days or weeks apart, it shoots the same zero.

Have Fun she's really purdeeeeee.
