Plinking this afternoon

Just got back from vacation. The day before I left for vacation my wolverine b hilite came in. I shot it 20 times before I left. I got back yesterday afternoon. This afternoon I just took an index card and nailed it to a tree at 22 yards. The top left and top center groups were using different trigger hand techniques. The remaining 4 are my tried and true trigger technique for bench shooting. All are 5 shot groups with 18.13 jsb. Now Im itching to move back to 50yrds for in the morning. The bottom right target was opened with the last shot. My dog jumped down from her chair on the porch when I shot and I called the shot right. Bottom line is she is showing me some promise right now.

Thanks guys......I dislodged by breech oring pulling some napier patches through her. Was going to give her a good clean barrel for some 50 yard shooting yesterday. I saw the sucker come out on the patches......rolled it off the patches and dropped it in tall grass. Man I was pissed. I spent forever on my hands and knees looking. I ended up overnighting 50 1.5X5mm buna N70 orings today. They will be here tomorrow morning. 2.50 cents for 50 orings and 30 bucks for overnight shipping. Weather is going to be to nice down here in Louisiana this weekend to not shoot.

This was my best 50 yard group this afternoon. Me and my dad were shooting off the back porch at 50 yards. Benchrested groups......

I let out a laugh after the first 4 shots appeared to one hole. The 5th shot was the stand alone shot to the left. I think that one shot had to be me. The gun is very accurate. The remaining 5 went in that hole. 10 shots total at 50 yards. Im loving the wolverine .22 hilite right now. It shot well all afternoon.

Well, you could avoid that shot by sorting pellets by weight, then sizing them, but then, shooting would become more like production line work and less like fun. Shake it off, and enjoy that outstanding gun. I'm sure you made some sacrifices to acquire it.

I'm floored by that accuracy.

I shot an Edgun Matador for the first time today. Mind. Blown. I see now how Ol' Ted is able to so effectively drop the hammer on the pests!

Honestly.......I dont think I want to sort pellets. When I start getting too competitive and detail oriented the fun kinda fades off a little. Thats just me tho....
