Pointed slugs

Could you single load them one at a time? Or just stick with the cert8fied slugs?Those are definitely not gonna fit in the mag!

I shoot bullets that look just like that out of my smokeless muzzleloader but from the guy who was the original designer of the bullet. I’m shooting a 353 AreoMax HC bullet @ 3900 FPS.
I’ve tried to buy bullets from him in the past but they never are in stock and it doesn’t look like those are in shock either.

A .458 Lee 2 cavity mold makes a 500 grain spire point with decent b.c made for 45-70 black powder long range shooting..Those slugs cast sized will probably be adequate...I buy pure soft lead for $1.00 a pound.....I cast a 650 grain .510 spire point boat tail for my .510 Texan with a B.C of .5....It fits and shoots in .510 Texans.... There are cast mold designs with decent b.c.....

3900 fps, must be a mistake right?? I'm not sure a 50 BMG would send that weight at that speed?!

Nope, 3900 FPS was not a mistake. With a 100 yards zero it only takes 16 MOA to get to a 1,000 yards.

It’s custom muzzler built on a Bat L action and a 1.9" barrel that‘s 33" long. She’s weighs in at 63 pounds.
When I’m shooting at our club I make sure I walk the line and let everyone know that I’m going to shot it. Everyone normally gets up and walks off the line. She’s loud.

@Buckeye68 A 33 foot long barrel? If that’s not a typo, please post a panoramic photo of that behemoth. How many people does it take to position that rifle? How does one load a 33 foot muzzle loader?

3900 FPS is not a typo. Here she is…… I had a 375CT that was 34 pounds with a big muzzle brake. 350gr Hooker solids at 3250 fps. Between the brake and the weight the recoil wasn't bad at all. Not much problem hitting steel 2500 yards away.
When we went to finish load development at Ben Avery shooting range they kicked my friend who had a 375 like mine, and me also, out of the range, LOL??!!
