Beautiful! So is it a Theoben mod?
Honestly, I have no desire.
The Beeman R1K in .20 that’s running on gas is still serving me well

Thank you.Beautiful! So is it a Theoben mod?
Did the muzzle weight come stock on the gun? I've been looking at that one from AoA.

That's so cool! I'd love to see how they converted the insides. Funny, I had a RX1 that was giving me trouble and was considering switching it to a spring. You went the other way. I eventually got the Rx1 working great. Your R1 must be wonderful.Thank you.
Yes , I sent my R1 back to Beeman 20 years ago and they installed the Theoben spring.
The Muzzle break was one of many extras you could purchase for your Beeman back in the day

I got one of the Crosman Gas Ram guns for a friend, it shot very well at first. Later the accuracy vanished, turned out the breech washers were plastic and worn. I could wiggle the barrel side to side with the barrel closed and locked up. I replaced them with some brass washers and that helped, but not much. After some research I ran across a post by NCEd about his struggles with a similar Crosman/Benjamin springer. It turns out the breech block has a sleeve which allows play in the barrel lockup. He went so far as to machine a tighter tolerance sleeve to reduce the slop but ended up junking his gun.Howdy all -
I am currently fooling around with a Crosman Shockwave…trying to get it to perform close to my expectations of a projectile firing arm. However, after some digging, and research, a Weirauch is kind of more what I am after. I like the Diana’s, it don’t honesty require that power. I’m looking for a 25y hole puncher and group maker. Weirhauch seems to be the answer around here.
An HW80SL is under $500 shipped to my door at the moment….trying to not just buy it. I will likely pursue it soon though…I have a new breach seal coming for the Crosman, some cleaning pellets, a couple different flavors of .22, and some shimming to do to the rear of my scope to see if there is any hope for this Wally World special.
Thanks for any input y’all can think of!

Just have to try to be patient! Thank you, brotherI got one of the Crosman Gas Ram guns for a friend, it shot very well at first. To summarize, I think you're headed in the right direction with your choice of the HW50!
But that Krale PriceAirguns of Arizona has them in stock-.177 and .22, great folks to deal with.
Doc, I can’t bring myself to “like” that one. You can’t have an Air Gun or Blackpowder mailed in NJ??Nice guns today. Unfortunately I am stuck in NJ. Can't get anything shipped without going to an FFL. Not that many big gun stores in NJ, meaning the choices/variety isn't there. But I'll get by.
I feel that will be my case with this Crosman. But if I could AT LEAST get it to minute of squirrel at a measly 25y, that would be splendid.I got one of the Crosman Gas Ram guns for a friend, it shot very well at first. If you like waiting a week after they charge your credit card before they ship AOA is for you. If you like paying more $$ for the same product AOA is for you. Place an order for an HW30 from both Krales and AOA at the same time. You will have your rifle sighted in and shooting from the Netherlands BEFORE the rifle even leaves AOAs warehouse. This has been my experience with both.Airguns of Arizona has them in stock-.177 and .22, great folks to deal with.
