The OP makes no assumptions that are not also made by the writer of the ad in question, not to mention the dispensing of financial advice. You have no desire to purchase the product but you feel like you need to spend the time to "call out" someone who is selling said item based on the price they want? Do you have nothing better to do? Even if you wanted to purchase the item you have no say what so ever in how much someone initially paid for said item or what they decide to sell said item for in the future. How is it your business to decide if they made a bad financial decision? Are you his financial advisor? What credentials do you have to tell another person that they made a bad financial decision?
For you to state: "Even if you wanted to purchase the item you have no say what so ever [sic] in how much someone initially paid for said item or what they decide to sell said item for in the future.", is totally absurd, in my opinion. When making decisions purchasing any used item, one of the very first things I consider is, the original price of the item, i.e. how much the seller paid for it.
"Do you have nothing better to do?" Are you conducting business here? Does the following verse form KJV have any meaning to you: "Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye."
