Did not know where to post this, wanted to put in the Classifieds, so mods please move if you need to. Wanted to give a heads up to buyers and sellers. I was just at my Post Office. They don’t take cash as a payment and USPS money orders must be paid for in cash, so the sign said No Money Orders. I’m sure it’s because of the Corona Virus. I don’t know if it’s PO wide or just my PO. Something to consider when buying or selling.

Now it’s been a few months since I’ve bought a USPS money order. But I’ve always paid with my Debt card.

all I know is that they are running later as to be expected and stuff isn't getting scanned in correctly or should I say its getting worse ill be using ups during these times I think to see if they can be on time I guess take the good with the bad workers are probably a little scared also as they should be gotta give them credit I guess

so that they can bring on 100% 'digital currency'. We're all being forced into a Technocracy.

USPS money orders for airguns are useless to me because my tiny rural PO never had enough money to cash one out over $75.
On the flip side buying a MO without cash the PO considers stamps as currency so I tried to buy stamps with a CC then use them to buy a MO but they nixed that too.
But they do give me first name basis top notch service shipping AGs since I am their biggest customer.

LOL The same thing happens to me as well at the tiny very rural post office near here . It must be an NC thing haha. (Joke
) . I just started taking the larger ones straight to my bank instead lol. It takes a lil longer but goes through no problems . I can sometimes call ahead and they will save up and call me back if that tells you how small town friendly it is haha. Wish ya the best

With all of the cyber crime with accounts getting hacked these days I personally wouldn't trust any form of crypto currency. YO!

I have a hard time with that cash is legal tinder I would think they would be required to take it. I Sent some stuff off a few days back and the USPS took cash then. A few days! It was two weeks ago. Old timers sets in. ;^)

LOL I am hoping it was just a local thing in the end due to some individuals call on the Cov. 19 stuff I do not know for sure lol. I have not had any trouble with folks taking my cash as of lately haha I have trouble keeping it myself
. I will be one of the very last adopters of any sort of cashless society if it ever comes to that myself I just do not care to go there at all ever. LOL I hope that I am gone by then anyway haha.

I'm with you on that! Cash is best it keeps you from trying to live on credit and it keeps prying eyes from knowing what you are spending your money on.

I was at the post office this morning mailing a box and there were people getting money orders with cash big money orders at that! One thing I do know is that the rates seem to have increased

When making purchases online I ONLY use Paypal. If the company or individual does not accept Paypal then I find someone else that will. Whatever it is... it isn't something I can't live without.

I would avoid the USPS right now. I've got a rifle and a set of scope rings lost in their system somewhere. Really screwed up. Fedex has been delivering right on time.
