Hey guys, my antique target collection just got real. This is the first really good piece I have acquired.

Does anyone else collect antique targets?

I know Airgun Advisor has a few because I have seen them in the background of his videos (some expensive ones too!)

Post your targets here so we can check them out! -Nate

P.S. Looking for a Caldwell Shootin' Gallery if anyone has one (not antique).

1930's Crosman Targets (Auto Reset) are available on eBay for under $150

I agree. A friend has a reproduction of an early 1900s English bell that they used for pub shooting in that era. Pretty funny stories about that old scene. There is a web site dedicated to it if interested. It's a 3/8" hole and they shot it offhand from 8 yds with iron sights and pellets they would dispense like a penny candy machine. We shoot that one for hours with all kinds of lower powered rifles when I visit..... usually for a competition he hosts. He needs a couple more so multiple guys could do it simultaneously .... It's that addictive.

Fun stuff !! Thanks for showing sonme other cool ones!

I have had this for a long time. I think that I bought it on eBay. They are still available. When you hit the paddles, they fall back and are caught by a magnet. Hitting the smaller paddle in the middle releases the others. I shot it today. My HW30 .22 is marginal at 15 yards. It needs a bit more power to knock the paddles back solidly. I could see that I was getting solid hits.

That Hawthorn Trap looks high quality. Great finish after 20 years! Hardly a dent in the back either!

Nothing like that made today. I put holes through the back of my pellet traps from China. Broke my garage window one time after the pellet trap back gave way.....

I have not looked inside, but it weighs 22.5 pounds. If it can stand up to .38 Special, a pellet isn't going to damage it. I have shot it with a .22 LR and it doesn't faze it at all.

There are no dents, just paint damage.
