How does one PM someone about a rifle they are looking for? I seemed to have lost my thoughts on how to do this function.

I have been posting on Airgun Nation for a few years now. I am sure I have posted much more than 10 times.

In the last tear I have found this forum very cumbersome to use. I am certain I have made at least a hundred posts on Airgun Nation since joining 4 or five years ago. So if someone sees that I have only made six posts I will do my best to get more in right a way.

Moderator or Mike, Why make it such a hassel to use this forum? Check back about a year ago when we were trying to open up the AAFTA Open class to Buckets and Bipods and count my messages and replies on the FT forum.

I'll chime in.................I MISS THE PM FUNCTION. IT WAS VERY EASY TO USE AND TO RECEIVE MESSAGES. NOW I HAVE TO THINK ABOUT WHAT TO DO. The new function might tie things together behind the scene but it certainly doesn't seem like an upgrade.

You must have been using another account then if youve been posting for years. As oledawg showed, it shows you only joined the site in May of this year.
Its VERY reasonable to have a 10 day ten post restrictions on the classifieds as it keeps the spammers and scammers down.

Nice to see you posting here. Personally prefer to only deal with know longtime FT (and such) shooters. Seems like anyone into airguns would know who you were but hey it seemed many here didnt know who LD was , meh. From shooting at the GOB for years I got to meet lot's of fine people, who know other people in the region. Makes things easier.
I thought about flagging a moderator (you might consider pm-ing one of them?) . But ya 10 "qualiy post" and maybe some short time period to keep the scammers slowed down as so many airgun folks these days don't seem to know how to talk on the telephone and figure out who is a true air-gunner.
So on those "quality" posts. Personally love to see some FT related posts from you. Still have a favorite rifle? Pics? Own ANY old schol airgun you might share a bit of knowledge on.

RickAround October 2022 I upgraded to a new computer. From that point on I could no longer log in. I tried many times to no avail. Somehow I managed to get logged in but I had to change my Login name (I believe) but I think I am still using the same password. I can post on the general or FT forum but the classified doesn't seem to want anything to do with me. I don't know why but that's what I have been dealing with on this forum. Have no problem on Airgun Warriors. I have never been a scammer and had 10 pages of 100% positive results on the Old Yellow until they shut down. It did take my quite a while before I could post again and maybe it was in May but I do know time does fly.

Sucks you lost your last login. Gotta love technology at times. It is nice to have you back as it sounds like youve got a wealth of experience and info to learn from.
