Looking at that bin, that looks like one of the worst deals that I have ever seen, and I like taking on projects. It diminishes their brand for AOA to be selling garbage bins. I don't get why they are doing it. I suppose you could sell them as props to a movie studio, that's about it, I wouldn't publicly advertise that I had that kind of inventory though. Looks straight out of Sportsman Trading Company.

$400 is over the ships free amount isn't it ?
And the description says "in working condition "
What is doesn’t say is “all are in working order.” It says “Item is in working order.” It also says “No returns.” Besides, that’s just a blanket description of what they classify as in “good” condition.

To be fair we had a Chinese springer in my home during my youth. I don’t know the make or model, but it was a hammer. It would send a .177 pellet through ¼” plywood like it was nothing. The gun held up well over the years. It probably still shoots. I have no idea of what kind of condition it’s in or how bad the spring is. I just picked it up and shot it when I wanted to.

In today’s world of disposable goods, good luck getting parts if you need to swap springs or make repairs. If you can make parts this may be a cool project. If you cannot, this looks like a bin of crap.

Just need some bailing wire, bubble gum, duct tape, bluing tank, ceracote, sprayer, and oven, mill, lathe, paint stripper, stain, varnish, am I missing about 50 other things?? Ha.

And some different personality traits that I'll never understand.

Me no way but it'd be a fun post if someone bought it and made a thread about the repairs and restorations. If videoed they'd probably get 10's of thousands of views on youtube and turn a nice profit too. Could even sell the fixer uppers with the new provenance - as collector items.
