Has anyone installed a factory power plenum on their fx impact. Just wanted to see if it was something I could do myself or not. I have watched a few videos. But wanted to see if some everyday people have done it.

I did mine 2 weeks ago. I took my time and had it apart and back together with in a hour.it looks challenging, but it’s not bad. Just keep everything separated. I used the video with the guy from krale to help me. Good luck

Did mine today and it took a little over an hour. Just need basic tools and hex Allen wrenches. Also good calipers. There is one part that is installed with removable locktite that took me awhile to get off. Need to heat it with a lighter or heat gun to get it loose. Everything else was straight forward on the installation video.

I installed mine about 2 months ago. I could not get anymore power/speed than I was before the power plenum was installed. It did reduce the reg setting by about 20 bar but I ran out of hammer spring adjustment.
After some investigation I found than the factory guns have a new spring cup and hammer spring adjustment block which allows about 2mm more adjustment. Parts C8 and C10 When I ordered those and installed them that has allowed an increase of 150-200 fps.
