I have one of these ordered. What should I do to it before shooting? Take it apart and clean it up?

Thanks

Just shoot it. If you must, clean the barrel. I would recommend shooting at least one tin of pellets through it. Before you start to tear the thing apart let the parts wear together. Mine has been doing very good with no tinkering whatsoever.

oldsparky,

Recommended steps to take as soon as your new PP700 arrives:
*Unpack
*Fill with air
*Load a pellet
*Shoot
I might be forgetting something important...
Oh yeah, before or after step 2, Scope it if there's no sights.

Annnd... Have Fun!

I usually shoot my rifles / pistols before cleaning the bbls..
That way, I have an idea of how they'll shoot 'dirty' first..

I shot my PP700S-A straight outa' the box, and it worked Amazingly!

Tins of pellets later, and dead on accuracy still - I haven't cleaned it once.
[But, if you'd like to . . . it definitely can't hurt]

Congrats on your new pistol, and welcome to the PP700-Club!

🙂👍

Install a Huma regulator bridge it with the onboard regulator replace the onboard delron seal with one that is 3 thousands thicker and 1 thousands bigger in diameter. Adjust trigger. enjoy 730fps I shoot the H&N rabbit rounds and she is very accurate and hits hard. Been great for getting rid of barn rats. Oh yeah add a redot.

Enjoy:)
