PP700 load?

I just ordered a PP700 in .22 for hunting my local dairy and for ground squirrels.

I’ve been using a Tau 7 Silhouette .22 for years but wanted to try something new.

what pellet and speed are you using if you own one? What shot count in .22?

I put a sun optics 2-6x28 scope and one of the folding stocks on mine.

I get about 20 shots @ 17fpe (14.66 @ 725fps)

With that, I can usually hit the 1/2" circle on my steel squirrel target. Nearly every time hit a 1" spinner. 25 yards.

It's a great little carbine!

I’ve used mine to kill hundreds of rats. Here are some numbers for 3, ten shot strings. Without any adjustments to the pistol. 14.3 Crosman Premiers.

string 1 = avg. 663.7 / ES. 14.51 / SD. 4.24

string 2 = avg. 671.5 / ES. 5.82 / SD. 2

string 3 = avg. 674.8 / ES. 14.7 / SD. 4.24

I get 30 shots out of mine.

@hearkens, when I got mine I just shot it, I did not adjust anything. I suggest you shoot it a bunch before you start to tweak anything. Thought it is relatively simple to adjust. There is close to a 100 page thread on the pp700sa at GTA.

Mine is accurate and powerful but has a slow leak.

I tried to shoot slugs with mine, h/n 21gr in size 217 and 218, the 218 performed best but not as good as jsb 15.89gr and 18.13gr, i put the scope on to shoot some targets but i will swap back to the reddot cause i like it more for plinking
