Snowpeak PP700 Why ?

I am still impressed with both PP700 and the PP750, I have set my two Hubens GKI 22 and 25 set aside for a few day to play with the PP guns, Got to put a muffler on that PP 700, Didn't see a Donny FL adapter for the 700? , I got a bunch of LDC on my PCP rifles but just don't look right on a pistol, I killed a few cans and targets today out to 30 yards , My eyes will not take me out any further with the red dots, I am not putting a scope on a pistol, They look way cool but -but just not me, Scopes go on rifles , But 40 years ago I would not put a scope on a rifle , Times change,,, And NO I will not drive a automatic truck, got to be Standard
and in the floor,,,
In the sport
Mike OOPS I remember why I was posting, PP700 barrel,,, Took me well over an hour to clean, Never seen a barrel the dirty,

I like that groove you have going in the barrel, I bet the pellet just slides in, I use a pellet pen with mine , I picked up a cheap air Venturi pen from somewhere , Makes loading the PP700 easy just squeeze a pellet in,,
Where did you get the Lothar barrels ?? I got the 10 inch barrel for the PP750 and I had to shot 50 shots before it would settle in , Its grouping pretty good now , But shss it took a while,, If I could get my PP700- PP750 triggers anywhere close to my GKl Hubens triggers I would be a happy camper,,

I have a few Lothar barrel left from 10 pcs. I bought from Tim (Mac1Airguns) for converting the crosman mk1 to an LD conf. The pp700 5.5cal is prone to stretching on the treaded end and lose accuracy.

I think I would like to have a Lothar barrel, But so far the oem barrel on the PP700 has pretty well impressed me , Now the 10 inch after market barrel I bought for the PP750 pretty well gave me fits , Had to break it in , It shot like a shot gun the first 25 or so shots ,,

Like I said, the pp700 5.5 barrel is very thin on the threaded ends. On the back end I use 2 M4 set screw and I make an over size M10 nut to tension the barrel and also have a 1/2 unf male thread for moderator. Changing breech O-ring is now very easy, just loosen the set screw to slide the barrel forward. The breech block I bored straight through.

For one of my pp750, I used an Avenger X 5.5 barrel I bought from PA. Yes it's a lot of work to cut to 10.75", tread and hone a lead for the pellet but it turned out very well for me. I lapped the groove with XXX fine diamond lapping compound. I also relocated the 2nd stage screw to reduce full by 30%.
